Malayalam
Jomonte Suvisheshangal, yet another close-to-real existence flick from Sathyan Anthikkadu, stands firm on its position as a far-reaching family entertainer with its theme and the enactment from the actors. Sathyan Anthikkadu is known for his movies which always stand close to the lives of common people. The hype was on high when the young sensational star Dulquer Salman was teamed up with him along with Mukesh. The outcome proves that all those hypes were for a good cause. The first post-strike Malayalam release Jomonte Suvisheshangal is a cold war of two generations where no one is wounded but has got a positive result. The movie focuses on the point that even if God has destroyed everything he would keep a fraction of life back to make it prosper.
Jomon is a representative lad for the present generation who looks at life as something to be experimented with enjoyments. Dulquer Salman is one of the best pick for such a role which needs both conventional and modern mannerisms. His boy-next-door image in the movie is more attractive and he makes all sorts of experiments with his characters as he had in Kammattipadam, Kali and Charlie all. He gets adapted to the core of the character and that is what makes his roles being loved by all. On the other hand Mukesh is back with a bang as Vincent whom we can call a stylish father! His ability to score with humorous sequences is neatly exposed by the director. There was a tremendous chemistry maintained by the both throughout the movie with emotional, funny and serious sequences.

Whether Jomon told as a joke or not, Anupama Parameshwaran as Catherine is so cute that everyone would fall in love with her. She appeared with a positive energy throughout the movie and has inspired Jomon too. But it is the smile, which is a blessing from God, from Vaidehi essayed by Aishwarya Rajesh is the real attraction and motivation. Sathyan Anthikkad’s movies possess a specialty of more focus on the supporting actors. Jomonte Suviseshangal is also of the same category. Shivaji Guruvayoor’s Ravunni and Tamil comedian Manobala’s Perumal are the gamechangers in the movie with their valuable interventions. Innocent, a common face in Sathyan Anthikkadu movies, too in Jomon’s life as Palodan who delivers some humorous moments with his own special mannerisms. Jacob Gregory as Jomon’s luxurious friend, Vinu Mohan and Irshad as Jomon’s brothers and Muthumani as Jomon’s sister also made their contributions precious.

The prime thing that is to be checked with utmost concentration to make a perfect family entertainer is its story and screenplay. The work was done successfully by one of the best scriptwriters of the industry, Iqbal Kuttippuram. Vidyasagar’s songs were already trending especially the song Nokki Nokki. National Award Winner S Kumar clearly portrayed the good news told by Jomon to the viewers with the best aesthetic sense. If you ever miss this movie that would be a mischance to look at yourself and to know what is the good news for you. So be quick to know what is the good news that Jomon has for you.
