Punyalan Private Limited, the sequel to Punyalan Agarbathees, is conveying a some great thoughts for the society as the first part did. The duo, Ranjith Sankar and Jayasurya, continues to show how potential they are to bring something new and innovative for the public, of course inspiring too. Social issues are discussed in many movies but it’s for the first time we see such a wide range of such issues are discussed in one movie. Hats off to Ranjith Sankar for the brave effort which has turned into a sweet result.
Joy Thakkolkkaran is back with a bang with more enthusiasm and also with a new product named Punyalan Water. As in the case of every common man, Joy has to overcome many hurdles for his product. With his attempts the movie reaches yet another level with focusing and dealing with many current problems. The media, online platforms and all other things are used in the best way throughout the movie. Jayasurya as Joy Thakkolkkaran amazes again with the will power and positive mind of Joy. The innovative and resourceful Joy Thakkolkkaran is absolutely safe in the hands of Jayasurya and he made the second coming wonderful. Joy speaks what the people wish to say but they’re speechless. The ’24 Hours With CM’ is the main highlight of the movie and that makes the movie more societal.
The audience had expected for Nyla Usha in the movie but has surprisein Punyalan Private Limited with her role. It was Sreejith Ravi’s Abhayakumar who brought all the laughs with timely stupidities and he has got a lot to perform in this movie than the previous part. Abhayakumar and Jimbroottan made all the audience getting laughed at each moment. The innocence that Abhayakumar has is the main reason that brought all the laughs. Aju Varghese as Greenu also contributed his best from Sharjah and he powers Jayettan with all the positive vibes. Dharmajan is seen in a throughout role as Adv Peer Thanesh and his appearance itself makes all happy. The performance from Vijayaraghavan as CM is fantastic and the cunning role has become a memorable one with his experienced acting. Sunil Sukhada as Judge, Ponnamma Babu as Usha, Guinness Pakru as the bank manager, Arya Rohit as Golda, Vishnu Govind as Gladson and Jayaraj Warrier as Kaattalan Jose etc had performed well to execute a Punyalan Private Limited as one of the best social-oriented movie of the recent time.
Punyalan Private Limited speaks about different social issues and it’s the script that made the audience being engaged with all these social issues without any moment of boredom. The director Ranjith Sankar deserves all the recognition for his script and it has each dialogue filled some of the recent happenings that has brought laughs. Both the background music and the songs helped in making a block less entertainment experience with the movie and thanks Bijibal and Anand Madhusoodanan for your work. Vishnu Narayanan captured the clear and apt life of Thrissur and the visuals from the title song is his trademark because it has all. V Sajan made the proper cuts in order to make it a perfect one. Punyalan Private Limited is for you all who are forced to be silent but has a lot to say. Watch it and you will regret for not opening your mouth against all the injustice and discriminations that take place in front of your eyes.
