Vedam just like it’s name rightly gives out wisdom to the people who watch it. The movie is the directorial of Prasad Yadav and he gives us two new and young faces, that is of the leading pair, Sanjay Menon and Saniya. It is a family movie and is an ideal watch for all parents who intend to send their children abroad for higher education. The movie is sure to capture the attention of filmy buffs as it ventures into a very important subject matter. The subject matter is nothing but the sensitive and sometimes dangerous things that are bound to happen in the lives of the supposed ‘New Generation’ kids.
Apart from Sanjay and Saniya, the other actors include Siddique, Saikumar, Madhu, Kaviyoor Ponnamma, Jagadeesh, Rekha and Sunil Sugadha and they all performed their parts with class. Vedam’s cinematography is handled by Samlal P Thomas and he has done his job with the visuals nicely. The edits were handled by Sanal Anirudhan and the cuts are okay. The music department was helmed by M G Sreekumar and Ronnie Raphael together and while the songs were sung by M G Sreekumar and Franco, the background music was composed by Ronnie. Overall if you are looking for a family entertainer that gives out a useful message, Vedam is the film for you.
