വെള്ളിയാർപ്പുഴയിൽ ചരിഞ്ഞ പിടിയാന നാടിന്റെ നൊമ്പരമാവുകയാണ്. സ്ഫോടക വസ്തു നിറച്ച പൈനാപ്പിൾ വായിൽ വച്ച് പൊട്ടിത്തെറിച്ചാണ് പിടിയാനയ്ക്ക് അപകടമുണ്ടായത്. വെറും 15 വയസ് മാത്രം പ്രായമുളള പിടിയാന ഗർഭിണിയായിരുന്നുവെന്ന് പോസ്റ്റ്മോർട്ടത്തിൽ കണ്ടെത്തിയിരുന്നു. സ്ഫോടക വസ്തു നിറച്ച പൈനാപ്പിൾ വായിൽ വച്ചതും പൊട്ടിത്തെറിച്ചു. ഇത് മേൽത്താടി തകർത്തുവെന്നാണ് റിപ്പോർട്ട്. മുഖത്തെ മുറിവിൽ ഈച്ചയും മറ്റ് പ്രാണികളും വരാതിരിക്കുന്നതിനായി ആന പുഴയിലെ വെള്ളത്തിലിറങ്ങി നിൽക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
സംഭവത്തെ അപലപിച്ച് ബോളിവുഡിലും കായികരംഗത്തുള്ളവരും നോർത്ത് ഇന്ത്യൻസും മുന്നോട്ട് വന്നിരിക്കുകയാണ്. ഈ ക്രൂരമായ പ്രവൃത്തിക്ക് പിന്നിലുള്ളവരെ എത്രയും വേഗം തന്നെ നിയമത്തിന് മുന്നിൽ കൊണ്ട് വരണമെന്നാണ് എല്ലാവരും ആവശ്യപ്പെടുന്നത്. വിരാട് കോഹ്ലി, അനുഷ്ക ശർമ്മ, ശ്രദ്ധ കപൂർ, രൺദീപ് ഹൂഡ, ജോൺ എബ്രഹാം, അക്ഷയ് കുമാർ എന്നിങ്ങനെ നിരവധി പേരാണ് പ്രതികരണവുമായി എത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.
